This privacy policy statement describes how Cardinbox collects information when you:

  • access sites or use mobile applications or use platform that link to this statement;
  • upload Your business card and other details such as name, designation, qualifications, addresses, contact numbers, company name, etc. contained therein on the platform;
  • open and respond to our e­mails; or
  • How do we share information?
  • visit any page online that displays our ads or content.

It does not apply to the collection of information in any way other than as listed above. This statement also explains how Cardinbox uses and shares this information, sometimes combined with information from other sources, and what choices you have in managing your privacy. As stated earlier, you give information directly to us. For example, when you:

  • fill out an online application;
  • register or log into your account;
  • upload details contained in your business cards / visiting cards or any digital contact card by whatever name called;

  • provide us feedback or contact us via email. That time we will collect your name and email address,as well as any other content included in the email, in order to send You a reply.

Cardinbox reserves the right to use anonymous data for any purpose and disclose anonymous data to third parties in its sole discretion. The information we have collected may be stored and processed by servers of Cardinbox or service providers such as Microsoft Azure etc., and such servers may be distributed across India or in any other countries / regions as required by the services.


In keeping with the Cardinbox policy, we do not share personal information with anyone, except as described below:

  1. We may share personal information as required or permitted by law:
    • to comply with legal orders and government requests;
    • to combat fraud or criminal activity, and to protect the rights of Cardinbox and / or its Associates /Affiliates / Partners;
    • with vendors (who are required to safeguard personal information) that help us operate our business;
    • Co­-brand partners, and other business partners with whom we jointly offer products and services (but they may not use this information to independently market their own products or services to you unless you have consented; or
    • with your consent.
  2. We may share non-­personal information for the same reasons as we might share personal information with business partners for their own analysis and research or to facilitate targeted content and ads, or with third-­party ad-­servers to place our ads and/or ads of our business partners on our sites and on third-­party sites, and to analyze the effectiveness of those ads.


You may tell us to stop sending you marketing information. We will still communicate with you in connection with servicing your account, fulfilling your request, or administering any promotion or any program in which you may have elected to participate. Corporate account holders (entities subscribing to services of Cardinbox for bulk users can call the customer service number that is already available with them.


We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We also require you to enter a password to access your account information. Please do not disclose your account password to unauthorized people. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while Cardinbox uses reasonable efforts to protect your personal data, Cardinbox cannot guarantee its absolute security. Please do not send us any personal information through unsecured channels, including e­mail or social media sites.


We may transfer personal information to other countries, for example, for customer service or to link global connections through your professional network. Regardless of where we transfer your information, we still protect your information in the manner described above.


If your personal information or privacy is disclosed due to any of the following events, we will use our best efforts to remedy or assist you, provided, however, that you shall agree that we are not liable:

  • Information divulged due to computer virus, trojan and hacker attack;
  • Personal information to be provided as required by law or relevant governments;

Our sites are not for children under 15 years old. We do not knowingly solicit data online from, or market online to, children under 15. If we knowingly receive a child’s personal information, we will delete it from our systems / database.

Co­-brand Partners ­- companies we partner with to offer digitized cards featuring both brand logos.

IP Address -­ a number assigned to a device when connecting to the internet.

Non-­Personal Information -­ information that cannot identify a person such as Cookie data. It may be derived from personal information, so long as all personal information has been removed.

Other Web Technologies -­ web beacons, pixels, and other technologies, which transfer information from your computer / mobile / mobile application to a server connected to the Internet.

Personal Information ­- information that can identify a person, such as name, address, telephone number,and email address.
